Updates for April 2024

Easter egg hunts are back! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by mid-March.

When we CONFIRM an event for 2024, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange.
The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you must call or email to confirm before you go.

Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, or simply never respond to email, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, Facebook pages and calendars. The event is free and open to the public. There will be games, vendors, activities, inflatables, Brunch With the Easter Bunny, Egg Hunt, Have brunch with the Easter Bunny on Saturday. Begin the morning by arriving at 10 a.m. for photo time with the Easter Bunny. While you wait, enjoy some craft time with your child. Then, dine from a delicious buffet prepared by Chef Falon Brown at Tierney’s Cavern. Cost is $15/Adult $15/Child (Child’s cost includes a 5X7 picture with the Easter Bunny). The annual Easter buffet is on Easter Sunday, followed by the Easter egg hunt for kids age 12 and under at 2 p.m. at the Welcome Center sponsored by the Friends of Carter Caves. Hop on down to Greenbo Lake State Resort Park’s amphitheater for an Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Bunny will hide 2,000 eggs and will be there to greet you. Pictures with the Easter Bunny and crafts for the kids is followed by two egg hunts. The first hunt for ages 0-5 will start at 2 p.m. The second hunt for ages 6-12 will begin at approximately 2:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded in each category. Easter Egg Hunt is free.
