August: Easter Sunday will April 21, 2019, If you plan to hold an Easter egg hunt, add or update your information as soon as you can. In 2018 most Easter egg hunts were held on either Saturday, March 24, 2018 or Saturday, March 31, 2018. ALWAYS click the links to check date and time with the event's own website, as there are often last minute changes due to weather or logistical problems, just click on the link to the event's website and (in most cases), you want to click on the "events" link or "calendar" link on their website. Or use their site search for "Easter". Do let them know you found them here, so they will update us next year. Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, facebook pages and calendars. See their events calendar. There are also Easter breakfasts and brunches and Easter parades to watch!

Easter Egg Scramble and Spring Fair. Come out to Buffalo Springs Lake for our Annual Easter Egg Scramble! We will have over 10,000 eggs to hunt! Kids 11 and receive FREE admission until 2:00PM. Whitley Acres Petting Zoo will be here!!! Easter Egg Scrambles will start at 2:00PM. Spring Fair will start at 11:00AM. Easter Bunny will be available from 2:00PM until 4:00 PM for FREE pictures! Hodges Community Center's Annual Easter Egg Hunt - Easter

Lubbock Memorial Arboretum, Hodges Community Center, 4011 University, Lubbock, TX. Phone: 806-767-3706. Event date and time: Based on last year's date, it SHOULD be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 (but be sure to check on their website or call them first as may have changed) at 10 am. Bring your baskets and enjoy games, face painting and the hunt! Two areas for kids: one area for 4 under and one for 5 and above! Games open at 10 am and the hunt begins at 11 am sharp, so don't be late! 6. Festivities begin at 10 am, with the Easter egg hunt kicking off promptly at 11 a.m. Before the hunt begins, families will enjoy pictures with the Easter Bunny as well as face painting, games, and more. Just before 11 am, the event moves next door to the Lubbock Memorial Arboretum where thousands of eggs will be scattered throughout the Arboretum grounds and all its spring blooms. Be sure to bring your Easter baskets to collect the eggs during the hunt. Kids of all ages are invited to this free community event. Hodges Community Center is located at 41st Street and University Avenue.
