Updates for January 2021

Due to concerns about Coronavirus, many Easter egg hunts are being cancelled for 2020. As we get updates, we are revising them here. ALWAYS confirm directly with the sponsor (we provide links to their websites, email and phone numbers) to ensure they are still holding the event, as the situation is changing rapidly. A few are having drive-in Egg Hunts, most are simply canceling in 2020 to return in 2021, and holding an online service this year.
Easter Sunday will be April 12, 2020. Most Easter egg hunts are being held on the Saturday a week before Easter, or the day before Easter Sunday. ALWAYS click the links to check date and time with the event's own website, as there are often last minute cancellations, postponements or changes to locations due to weather (like heavy rains in the northeast) or logistical problems, just click on the link to the event's website and (in most cases), you want to click on the "events" link or "calendar" link on their website. Or use their site search for "Easter". Do let them know you found them here, so they will update us next year.  Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, or simply never respond to email, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, facebook pages and calendars. Besides egg hunts, there are also Easter breakfasts and brunches and Easter parades to watch!

  • Bendigo Tafe Bendigo Easter Festival Vision Australia Easter Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt

Event date and time: Cancelled for 2020, should be held again in 2021, likely to be on Good Friday, April 2, 2021 from 10:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Cost is $11 each.  Search for 170,000 Easter eggs in Rosalind Park on Good Friday and Easter Saturday. The chocolate eggs will be hidden in non-allergenic wood-wool at the beautiful Rosalind Park for more than 3,000 children to find. Easter egg hunts are organised for separate age groups over various time slots throughout each day. Hunt times for Good Friday and Easter Saturday:
    Tickets will be available for purchase prior to the event, with ticket sales commencing from 9am Friday March 8, 2019.
    Tickets can be purchased via the Bendigo Visitor Centre by visiting the website or calling 1800 813 153.
    Limited tickets will be available on the day.   This event is a major fundraiser for Vision Australia.
  • Cadbury Easter Picnic and Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt
    Werribee Park,  K Road, Werribee South, VIC 3030.  Event date and time: Good Friday, 10 April 2020,  from 9.30 am to 3.00 pm; tickets sell out fast - in advance - so get yours here now.  Directions: Werribee Park, K Road, Werribee, enter via main gates (at Gate 2) Cadbury will once again share the fun of Easter with our annual Cadbury Easter Picnic and Egg Hunt! The largest Easter egg hunt in Australia and with many NEW features to enjoy, it is a wonderful way to spend Easter with family and friends. The Cadbury Easter Picnic raises much-needed funds for The Royal Children’s Hospital’s Good Friday Appeal with all entry tickets plus other event fundraising donated to the Appeal. Now in its 19th year, the event has raised more than $1 million for the appeal to date. Entry Ticket Prices: $18 including booking fee. Children under 3 years free. Participation in egg hunts is limited to children aged 3-12 and is included in the cost of their entry ticket. When purchasing your child’s entry ticket simply select:
    - a session time based on your child’s age at their last birthday
    - a hunt meadow colour;  (it doesn’t matter which one you pick!)
    Hi-5 will be the headline act this year, bringing their high-energy singing and dancing that kids love!
    You will also be able to meet and take photos with the Cadbury Easter Bunny, as well as enjoy some other amazing acts that will have you on your feet and dancing!

Event date and time: Based on last year's date, it SHOULD be held on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020 (but be sure to check on their website or call them first as may have changed),  from 10 am to 4 pm. 2019 Cost: $45 for a family of 4. Bring the family for a wonderful day out at Rippon Lea Estate. Take part in our Easter Egg Hunt through the amazing grounds, meet the members of our Easter Bunny team, and of course our very own Koala and Rippon Lea Bear! Bring the family, a picnic basket and your keenest eyes for a relaxing day and widespread Easter Egg Hunt among the magnificent grounds of Rippon Lea Estate. There will be fairground rides, jumping castles and outdoor games, and the Mansion will be open hourly for all to explore. Children from two to twelve will be able to join in a special Easter Hunt that will lead them into every corner of the garden. Stay on the lookout for our Easter Bunny Team, who’ll be guarding our giant Rippon Lea eggs. The Ripplea Bear and Kerry the Koala will also be doing the rounds!   • Melbourne's Biggest Easter Egg Hunt at the Melbourne Easter Show - Easter egg hunt

Suitable for children 3 years- 12-year-old. You will be able to select a session time suitable for the age group of your child. Times: The Easter Egg Hunt will be operating daily over the 4 days from 10:20 am until 5 pm. There will be several sessions per day based on children's age groups. You will be able to select your desired time slot on the booking page. Activity: Your child will be given a basket to collect the balls in. Once your child has collected the balls they will redeem them for a pre-packaged bag of Easter eggs.
