Looking for a local Easter egg hunt for your children? Or an Easter parade, Easter brunch or breakfast or other Easter events in Niagara area of Ontario?  Scroll down this page and you will see all of those in Niagara area of Ontario, sorted by county. ALWAYS either see their website or call before you go to confirm the info, there are often last minute changes which they do not report to us!  If you have missed the Easter egg hunts in your area (or they were canceled), see this page about how to easily have your own backyard or local park Easter egg hunt.

Updates for December 2024

Easter egg hunts are back! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by mid-March.

1. When we CONFIRM an event for 2024, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
2. Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange.
3. The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you must call or email to confirm before you go.

ALWAYS click the links to check date and time with the event's own website, as there are often last minute cancellations, postponements or changes to locations due to weather (like heavy rains) or logistical problems, just click on the link to the event's website and (in most cases), you want to click on the "events" link or "calendar" link on their website. Or use their site search for "Easter". Do let them know you found them here, so they will update us next year. Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, or simply never respond to email, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, Facebook pages and calendars. Besides egg hunts, there are also Easter breakfasts and brunches and Easter parades to watch!

• Beamsville Annual Easter Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt
  Beamsville Lions Club, 5100 Fly Rd, Beamsville, ON. Event date and time: Saturday, March 30, 2024 get there by 9:15, the first hunts start at 9:30am. Free hot chocolate and hot dogs (donation). In Support of the Event a cash or non-perisable food donation to Community Care of West Niagara would be appreciated.
• Heartland Forest - Easter egg hunt
  Heartland Forest, 8215 Heartland Forest Road, Niagara Falls, ON. Event date and time: No update yet for 2024, if they DO hold it, based on past years, it would likely be on multiple dates . Heartland Forest has a self-guided Easter Scavenger Hunt over a week's time (multiple dates) . Just pick up a scavenger hunt in our Nature Centre or from our website. You can complete this fun activity by finding the bunnies we have hidden around our property. Once complete you can bring your finished scavenger hunt to our Nature Center during operating hours or email your entry to specialevents@heartlandforest.org. Make sure you include your name and phone number on the entry!
• LP Realty Network Annual Charity Easter Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt, The Easter bunny will make an appearance, Childrens crafts, FREE event, Other activities, restrooms, concession stand (drinks, snacks and/or food)

• Niagara Falls Fireman's Park - Easter egg hunt, Inflatables, bounce houses, etc., Cancelled in bad weather, There is a fee for this event, Bring a basket to collect the eggs, restrooms, concession stand (drinks, snacks and/or food), pony rides, Hand sanitizer and/or hand washing stations are provided

There is an entrance fee of $3 per child or one non-perishable food donation per child. Children are divided into groups by age and are given 10-15 minutes to collect as many eggs as they can. • Geocaching Egg Hunt Niagara Falls State Park - Geocaching Egg Hunt
  332 Prospect St, Niagara Falls, NY 14303. Phone: (716) 278-1794. Event date and time: Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 10 am to 11:30 AM. Participants will learn how to use a Global Positioning System (GPS) unit and use a handheld GPS unit to find hidden eggs. Recommended ages 8+. Registration required on Eventbrite.com.

• Pelham’s Annual EGGstravaganza - Easter egg hunt
  Pelham Arena, 1120 Haist Street, Fonthill, ON. Event date and time: Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 11am. Egg Hunt starts at 11:00 am SHARP! For local children 12 yrs. and under. 3 hunt areas: 3-5 yr olds; 6-9 yr olds; 10-12 yr olds. One “golden egg” prize per area. Bring your own basket to collect eggs. A shuttle to the arena will be available at Harold Black Park (953 Haist Street, Fonthill) from 10 am to 12 pm.

  Please bring a non-perishable food item for our friends at Community Care and make sure to come early to register to win one of our big prizes and meet the Easter Bunny. Hot Chocolate will be sold for $1.00 per cup.

• Winona Easter Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt
  Winona Park, Winona, ON. Event date and time: Saturday, March 30, 2024,  from 9 am. Please pre-register your children using our simple registration form online. If you do not pre-register online by that date, you can register at the park starting at 9:00 AM on the day of the hunt. Please note that the Easter Egg Hunt activities (colouring, arts and crafts, face painting and fire trucks, police cars) start at 9:00 AM. The Egg hunt begins at 11:00 am sharp. Pre-registration information will be posted SOON. Please note that pre-registration is done to make sure that every child receives a loot bag!
