Updates for September 2021

It looks like egg hunts will be returning in 2021! Unfortunately MANY are waiting until literally the last minute to publish their plans and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in.  Those we KNOW are having an event in 2021 are highlighted in yellow, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.

RELATED: You may also want to go to a local farm to Pick Your Own fruit and vegetables; strawberries start very soon in most areas! Farms will be open, and it's quite safe out in a field, where people are not close to each othger!

ALWAYS click the links to check date and time with the event's own website, as there are often last minute cancellations, postponements or changes to locations due to weather (like heavy rains) or logistical problems, just click on the link to the event's website and (in most cases), you want to click on the "events" link or "calendar" link on their website. Or use their site search for "Easter". Do let them know you found them here, so they will update us next year. Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, or simply never respond to email, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, Facebook pages and calendars. Besides egg hunts, there are also Easter breakfasts and brunches and Easter parades to watch!

  • Beamsville Annual Easter Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt
    Beamsville Lions Club, 5100 Fly Rd, Beamsville, ON. Event date and time: We don't yet know if they are holding it in 2021, but based on the 2019 date (it obviously wasn't held in 2020), if they do hold it, it SHOULD be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 (but be sure to check on their website or call them first as we cannot find an update for this year yet) at 9:30am. Free hot chocolate and hot dogs (donation). In Support of the Event a cash or non-perisable food donation to Community Care of West Niagara would be appreciated.
  • Heartland Forest - Easter egg hunt
    Heartland Forest, 8215 Heartland Forest Road, Niagara Falls, ON. Event date and time: Based on last year's date, it SHOULD be held on multiple dates (but be sure to check on their website or call them first as we cannot find an update for this year yet) . Heartland Forest has a self-guided Easter Scavenger Hunt over a week's time (multiple dates) . Just pick up a scavenger hunt in our Nature Centre or from our website. You can complete this fun activity by finding the bunnies we have hidden around our property. Once complete you can bring your finished scavenger hunt to our Nature Center during operating hours or email your entry to specialevents@heartlandforest.org. Make sure you include your name and phone number on the entry!
  • LP Realty Network Annual Charity Easter Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt, The Easter bunny will make an appearance, Childrens crafts, FREE event, Other activities, restrooms, concession stand (drinks, snacks and/or food)

  • Niagra Falls Fireman’s Park - Easter egg hunt,  Inflatables
    2275 Dorchester Road, Niagara Falls, ON. Email: easteregg@scvfa.ca. Event date and time: We don't yet know if they are holding it in 2021, but based on the 2019 date (it obviously wasn't held in 2020), if they do hold it, it SHOULD be held on Good Friday, April 2, 2021 (but be sure to check on their website or call them first as we cannot find an update for this year yet) from 10 am to 3pm. Annual egg hunt in Fireman’s Park. There is an entrance fee of $3 per child or one non-perishable food donation per child. Children are divided into groups by age and are given 10-15 minutes to collect as many eggs as they can. Please see website for age groups and hunt times. Concessions such as Chili, Hot Dogs, Snacks, Hot Chocolate, Coffee, and cold drinks.
  • Pelham’s Annual EGGstravaganza - Easter egg hunt
    Pelham Arena, 1120 Haist Street, Fonthill, ON. Egg Hunt starts at 11:00 am SHARP! For local children 12 yrs. and under. 3 hunt areas: 3-5 yr olds; 6-9 yr olds; 10-12 yr olds. One “golden egg” prize per area. Bring your own basket to collect eggs. A shuttle to the arena will be available at Harold Black Park (953 Haist Street, Fonthill) from 10 am to 12 pm.

It’s time for our annual Downtown Ridgeway Easter Egg Hunt where you can meet the Easter Bunny, hunt for eggs and join in the Scavenger Hunt at Village Square. Basically, it’s bedlam (lol) where age groups; 1-3 years and 4-5 years participate in an egg hunt and 6-10 years participate in a scavenger hunt. Great fun and good treats! Parents, please accompany your children. While you’re here, explore our unique shops, boutiques, eateries and all that Downtown Ridgeway has to offer! The craziness starts at 10:00am.

Held by the the Thorold Station 1 Volunteer Fire Fighters (Protection Hose Company No. 1), Kids will be divided up by age category, and everyone will leave with a Chocolate Bunny.
    Please bring a non-perishable food item for our friends at Community Care and make sure to come early to register to win one of our big prizes and meet the Easter Bunny. Hot Chocolate will be sold for $1.00 per cup.
  • Warner Ranch - Easter egg hunts

NO RESERVATIONS REQUIRED-Rain or Shine event. All activities are indoor and we have a covered wagon for the hayrides. We offer an excellent opportunity to take the kids out this Easter for our incredible and exciting Easter Eggstravaganza. All children that wish to participate in egg decorating, the egg hunt, petting zoo and Belgian Horse Drawn hay ride are $10.00 each, parents are $3.00 each. Children under the age of one are admitted free unless they choose to participate in egg decorating and egg hunt. More than just an Easter Egg Hunt we also offer, pony rides, Unicorn rides, face painting and an inflatable bouncy castle all Easter weekend long.  Pony rides, Unicorn Rides and bounce house and face painting are not included in the $10.00 package.

Age group hunting areas, exchange coloured eggs for chocolate, country chic petting zoo, Held rain or shine.
  • Winona Easter Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt
    Winona Park, Winona, ON. Event date and time: We don't yet know if they are holding it in 2021, but based on the 2019 date (it obviously wasn't held in 2020), if they do hold it, it SHOULD be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 (but be sure to check on their website or call them first as we cannot find an update for this year yet),  from 9 am. Please pre-register your children using our simple registration form online. If you do not pre-register online by that date, you can register at the park starting at 9:00 AM on the day of the hunt. Please note that the Easter Egg Hunt activities (colouring, arts and crafts, face painting and fire trucks, police cars) start at 9:00 AM. The Egg hunt begins at 11:00 am sharp.
