Easter egg hunts are back! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by mid-March.

When we CONFIRM an event for 2024, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange.
The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you must call or email to confirm before you go.

Event date and time: Good Friday, March 29, 2024 from 10:30 am - 3:00 pm. young child gathering eggs in the woods at the Nature CenterSpring is coming, and so is the Woodland Egg Hunt. Children stroll the trails of the Nature Center in search of eggs and trade in their found eggs for wooden ones. Then they’ll spend time at the Nature Creation Stations to decorate their eggs in their own unique way. Along with the egg adventure, meet rabbits, birds, turtles and other egg-laying animals as you explore the Nature Center. Please bring your own basket to collect eggs. Participants are limited to four wooden eggs each. Woodland Egg Hunt is held primarily outdoors, please dress for the weather. Timed entry slots begin at 10:30 am and end at 2 pm; advance registration is required. Registration is capped per time slot and you must attend the time slot you reserve to ensure plentiful egg hunting for all! This event is suited for families with children up to 10 years old, egg collecting is for children only.

Event date and time: No update yet for 2024, if they DO hold it, based on past years, it MIGHT be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 12pm. Hippy-hop to Olde Mistick Village to meet Mr. Bunny! He will be in the Gazbo on the Village green for a special egg and hug for two year olds and younger from 12 Noon - 1 p.m. Then the “older” kids will have their chance to “hunt” for eggs in the Apple Orchard. It’s always according to age - 3-year-olds hunt for eggs at 12:00 sharp in the Apple Orchard; 4-year-olds at 12:15; 5-7 year olds at 12:30; 8-10 year olds at 12:45. After the hunts are over, all children can meet with Mr. Bunny in the Gazebo. Don’t forget to bring your camera! In the event of rain, all eggs will be available at the Gazebo.
