Easter egg hunts are back! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by mid-March.

When we CONFIRM an event for 2024, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange.
The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you must call or email to confirm before you go.

Forest Hills Playground - Easter egg hunt

National Zoo's Easter Monday Celebration - Easter egg hunt

Hosted by the Association of Minority Zoo and Aquarium Professionals Families are invited to enjoy egg hunts, live music, food trucks and games while discovering how they can help save species. The First Lady will host the annual Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn of the White House! The White House Easter Egg Roll is a timeless tradition that dates back to 1878 under the Administration of President Rutherford B. Hayes. President Donald J. Trump and the First Lady are honored to continue the traditions of the past while weaving new traditions into the fabric of our Nation. The ticket lottery for the White House Easter Egg Roll is now closed. For more information, please visit recreation.gov. Winners of the ticket lottery will be notified via email no later than first Monday in March.
