ALWAYS either see their website or call before you go to confirm the info, there are often last minute changes which they do not report to us!  If you have missed the Easter egg hunts in your area (or they were canceled), see this page about how to easily have your own backyard or local park Easter egg hunt.

Updates for September 2024

Easter egg hunts are back! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by mid-March.

1. When we CONFIRM an event for 2024, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
2. Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange.
3. The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you must call or email to confirm before you go.

Or use their site search for "Easter". Do let them know you found them here, so they will update us next year. Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, or simply never respond to email, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, Facebook pages and calendars. Besides egg hunts, there are also Easter breakfasts and brunches and Easter parades to watch!

They have hunts for different age groups over two days, Good Friday and on Saturday.   2024 ADMISSION: $16 Per Person. Members receive 10% off.  ATTENDANCE NOTES: Snacks and bag are included in the price of admission. All parking at Thompson's Point requires payment.
  
• Falmouth Congregational Church United Church of Christ Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt
  267 Falmouth Road, Falmouth, ME. Phone: 207-781-3413. Email: officemanager@falmouthcongregationalchurch.org. Event date and time: Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 11am to 1pm Rain or Shine. There will be events and activities taking place throughout the two-hour time frame, so please feel free to arrive before your designated hunt times to enjoy the festivities!  The hunt times are as follows:
  11:30 AM - Ages 2 and under
  11:50 AM - Ages 3-4
  12:50 PM - Ages 5-8
  12:50 PM - Ages 9 - 12
  The Hunts for ages 5-8 and 9-12 will run simultaneously. Admission is free! The church is located next to Town Hall. This event is free of charge. Be sure to bring an Easter Basket!
• First Baptist Church & First Parish Church - Easter egg hunt, Just show up Preregistration is NOT required, Cancelled in bad weather, FREE event, Bring a basket to collect the eggs

At 9 am, children 5 and under can collect eggs at the Rowe playground! At 9:15am, children 6 and over can collect eggs on the Rowe soccer fields! (Bring Your Own Basket). The egg hunt area will be divided into an age 5 and under section, and an age 6 and up section. Due to the anticipated HIGH VOLUME of attendees there will be an enforced 15 EGG/PIECE limit per child. • Buxton Annual Free Easter Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt

The annual Bunny Trail Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday,  at the Buxton Town Hall. This a FREE Family event! To register for this event head to Buxton Rec  or call the Rec Office at 207-929-8381. The event begins at 10am promptly so plan to get there early. Sponsored by the Dorcas Society of Hollis & Buxton. Held at Tory Hill Field Rt 202 Behind the Timberline store For Ages 10 & Under. There will also be a special appearance by the Easter bunny.  Event will be located at the Tory Hill Soccer Field Route 202 behind the Timberline store. Ages 10 and under. There will be a separate area for children 3 and under. Be sure to bring your own baskets or buckets. The Easter Bunny will also be making a special appearance!
• Kennebunk Elementary School Easter Egg Hunt - Easter Egg Hunt
  Town Hall, Kennebunk, ME 04043. Event date and time: No update yet for 2024, if they DO hold it, based on past years, it would likely be on a Saturday, either March 23, 2024 or March 30, 2024 from 9:45 to 12 pm. Generally the Friday before Easter, Meet us at the Town Hall (0-4 years olds) or Hope Woods (5-12 year olds) at 9:45am for a 10:00am start. The event is for ages 2-8 and starts promptly at 10am. (recommended to arrive 15 minutes early). Hop on over to this fun filled event. After egg hunt, enjoy some great family entertainment. FREE event will take place regardless of weather. Sponsored by the Recreation Department. Easter Egg Hunt starts promptly at 10am. We strongly suggest arriving by 9:45 am.
• Kittery Easter Egg Hunt - Easter Egg Hunt
  Shapleigh Field, 120 ROGERS ROAD, KITTERY, ME 03904. Event date and time: Saturday, March 30, 2024 at  9AM (AGES 2-5) & 10AM (AGES 6-10) | FREE. Peter Cottontail will be hiding Easter eggs and candy for youth, ages 2-10, on Saturday, March 30 at the KCC. Hop on over and get your Easter egg surprise! Children will also get to meet the Easter Bunny! No registration required. Parental supervision is mandatory. In the event that of inclement weather, this event will be rescheduled for Saturday, April 6. Cost: Free! No registration required. This event is a NEW spin on our Annual Easter Egg Hunt! There will be basket decorating, prizes, a photo booth, refreshments with the Easter Bunny, and of course an Egg Hunt. Please bring your own basket, but the decorating supplies will be provided. We are limiting the event to 100 children who are in 3rd grade and under. Pre-registration required!
