Updates for April 2024

Easter egg hunts are back! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by mid-March.

When we CONFIRM an event for 2024, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange.
The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you must call or email to confirm before you go.

Or use their site search for "Easter". Do let them know you found them here, so they will update us next year. Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, or simply never respond to email, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, Facebook pages and calendars. Wallace State Park - Easter egg hunt
10621 NE Hwy. 121, Cameron, MO. Phone: 573-751-9392 Event date and time: No update yet for 2024, if they DO hold it, based on past years, it should be on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 1 pm to 3 pm. Email: amy.poos@dnr.mo.gov. Come enjoy an afternoon of fun in the park. The enclosed shelterhouse will have nature displays and drawings for prizes from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. At 1 p.m., visitors of all ages may participate in an egg hunting adventure by searching for hidden golden eggs on the park’s hiking trails to win a special prize. Kids of all ages are invited to bring their baskets to collect the 2,000 candy and toy filled eggs at 2 p.m. This program is free and open to the public. The enclosed shelter house will have nature displays and drawings for prizes from 1 to 3 p.m. At 1 p.m., visitors of all ages can participate in an egg hunting adventure to win a special prize by finding hidden golden eggs on the park’s hiking trails. At 2 p.m., kids of all ages are invited to bring their baskets and search for over 2,000 hidden candy- and toy-filled eggs. This program is free and open to the public. Wallace State Park is located 6 miles south of Cameron on Highway 121. From Interstate 35, take Exit 48, go south on Highway 69 for one-half mile, and then take Highway 121 for one mile to park entrance.
