Updates for October 2024

Easter egg hunts are back! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by mid-March.

When we CONFIRM an event for 2024, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange.
The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you must call or email to confirm before you go.

Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, or simply never respond to email, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, Facebook pages and calendars. Los Ranchos Egg Hunt - annual Easter egg hunt
Hartnett Park, 6718 Rio Grande NW, Los Ranchos, NM 87107. Phone: 505-344-6582. Email: info@losranchosnm.gov. Event date and time: No update yet for 2024, if they DO hold it, based on past years, it MIGHT be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024; at 10am. For village kids up to age 12. Each year, the Village of Los Ranchos hosts an Easter Egg Hunt for Village residents, their families, and friends at Hartnett Park on the day before Easter Sunday. The Egg Hunt begins promptly at 10am, so get there early! It's always the day before Easter. It's a FREE event for kids up to age 12. Bring your own Easter basket. Youths are divided into age groups: 0-4, 5-7, 8-12. Please do not bring any eggs of your own, hard-boiled nor plastic eggs. All eggs are plastic eggs and are stuffed with either candy, toys, or both. Six special "Golden Eggs" will be hidden with the rest of the eggs. Finders turn them in for a large Easter Basket after the hunt! The Egg Hunt is for the youth, no adults allowed to participate except parents helping their children in the 0-4 age group. Instruct your child to meet you back at the perimeter after the hunt. If you have youths in more than one age group, instruct your children to meet you back at the announcement table or some other designated spot. Meet the Easter Bunny after the Egg Hunt! The Bernalillo County Fire Department will be on-site, greeting children. Stop by and have your children checkout the fire truck!

Santa Fe Easter Egg Hunt - annual Easter Egg Hunt and Touch the Big Truck event
Municipal Recreation Complex, Santa Fe, NM. Event date and time: No update yet for 2024, if they DO hold it, based on past years, it should be on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 9:30 am. Held at the Municipal Recreation Complex! Bring the whole family and join friends and neighbors to hunt for thousands of eggs filled with prizes, toys, and candy, and special golden egg prizes too! You can also see our big recycling, trash, and fire trucks up close! Specific egg-hunting fields will be set up for the following age groups:
1 to 3 (A parent must accompany their kids on this field)

Please arrive by 9:45 a.m. to get lined up on the fields before the hunt begins. Start time is 10 a.m.!
