Updates for December 2024

Easter egg hunts are back! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by mid-March.

1. When we CONFIRM an event for 2024, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
2. Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange.
3. The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you must call or email to confirm before you go.

Or use their site search for "Easter". Do let them know you found them here, so they will update us next year. Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, or simply never respond to email, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, Facebook pages and calendars. Besides egg hunts, there are also Easter breakfasts and brunches and Easter parades to watch!

  This is the one day when it’s okay to put all your eggs in one basket! Children 2-12 hunt for eggs in our formal garden and have photos taken with the Easter Bunny. Please bring your own basket. Learn the time-honored art of creating intricately patterned Ukrainian Easter eggs and make your own using a wax-resist technique at this hands-on workshop. Hot wax and permanent dyes used; please dress accordingly. Age 14 and up. Bring a bag lunch, only light refreshments offered. Space is limited. Registration required. 2023 Cost $20; members $15. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door. Recommended for mature 14-year-olds and up.
• Ferry Point Park Throggs Neck Community Alliance Easter Eggstravaganza - Easter egg hunt,
  10 Hutchinson River Parkway, Bronx, NY 10465. Event date and time: Saturday, March 30, 2024 Rescheduled from Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 11am - 2pm. This is the ultimate free community event with a 15,000 egg hunt, food, petting zoo, performances, pictures with Easter bunny, games & more! 
• Pelham Bay Park We Aim Higher - Easter egg hunt
  Watt Avenue &, Middletown Rd, Bronx, NY 10465. Email: friendsofpelhambaypark@gmail.com. Event date and time: Unknown, no date for this year, yet, maybe a Saturday from 1 pm to 4 pm. We Aim Higher will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at Pelham Bay Park! There will be two teams of parents and children! Both teams must work together to solve the riddles to find the golden egg. Once the golden egg is found, the team must come back to the table to claim their prizes. There will be snacks and drinks provides! Come have fun with We Aim Higher! (UPDATED: March 16, 2022, JBS)
• Sedgwick Library - Easter egg hunt

Event date and time: No update yet for 2024, if they DO hold it, based on past years, it MIGHT be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 10am. Join us for a Spring Egg Hunt at the Sedgwick Library! The Spring Bunny has hidden eggs all over the library for the children to find. Don't forget to bring your own basket to search for colorful plastic eggs containing one small surprise in the Children's Room. First come, first serve! The event will be followed by a Bunny Storytime, don't miss it! For children ages 1 to 5.
• St. James Park - Easter Egg Hunt

Do the Bunny Hop along with St. James Recreation Center staff as we have a bit of Easter fun. Eggstra-ordinary fun will be had by all, including obstacle courses, arts and crafts and, of course, our annual Easter Egg Hunt. This event is FREE and open to the public. Join us for a some spring time fun! St. James Recreation Center in St. James Park Accessible. Cost Free .
• Williamsbridge Oval Recreation WBO Center Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt

Event date and time: Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 11am to 2:00pm. Williamsbridge Oval Recreation Center is ready to celebrate. Children ages 3 to 11 years old may take part. There is a limited amount of spots for the egg hunt. Ages 3 to 6 years old will go from 11:30 am to 12:30 p.m. and ages 7 to 11 years old will go from noon to 1:00 p.m. Other activities include arts and crafts, potato sack races, dancing, yoga, and reading with the Bunny!
