Updates for April 2024

Easter egg hunts are back! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by mid-March.

When we CONFIRM an event for 2024, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange.
The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you must call or email to confirm before you go.

Or use their site search for "Easter". Do let them know you found them here, so they will update us next year. Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, or simply never respond to email, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, Facebook pages and calendars. Hunt for eggs in the vineyards, rain or shine, and enjoy prizes from local vendors, a glass or wine, and an Easter egg hunt bag. Participants are guaranteed five eggs or more, if you’re lucky. You must be 21 years or older to participate and advance registration is required, They will also have an Easter Brunch on Easter Sunday. .

Deerassic Park's Easter Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt

Event date and time: No update yet for 2024, if they DO hold it, based on past years, it MIGHT be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 11 am to 12:30 pm (annually typically on the Saturday before Easter). Deerassic Park’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt will also have a 1/2 mile hike along our beautiful nature trail with your family and meet the Easter Bunny along the way. The FIRST 500 kids (ages 2 to 14) in line will receive a Deerassic Park goodie bag filled with spring toys and treats. Park gates will open at 10:00am.The Deerassic Park Education Center hosts an Easter Egg Hunt for Youth under the age of 14 are welcome to come out and hunt eggs for tickets. Tickets may then be redeemed for prizes. Spring crafts and educational activities are also available during this event. It is free and open to the public.
Other events:
Trail of Treats - This annual Trick or Treat event happens throughout the woods and trails of Deerassic Park Education Center. Many local businesses set up stations along the trail for youth to Trick or Treat in a safe, traffic free, and friendly environment. There is no charge to this event thanks to the support of the Cambridge & Guernsey County business community.
