Easter egg hunts are back! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by mid-March.

When we CONFIRM an event for 2024, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange.
The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you must call or email to confirm before you go.

Chehalis-Centralia Easter Train - Easter Trains

Event date and time: UPDATE for 2022: Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Chehalis Centralia Railroad has made the difficult decision to suspend all passenger operations until further notice. We appreciate your support and are looking to resume operations as soon as we are able to do so. In normal years, it is held on the Saturday right before Easter from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm, multiple departure times, with ride duration of about 30 MINUTES, Departs at: 11:00am, 12:30pm, 2:00pm, 3:30pm). We will be operating our Easter Train with our newly overhauled 1916 Baldwin locomotive. The Chehalis-Centralia Railroad plans to operate an annual old fashioned Easter Egg Hunt. Climb aboard for a leisurely Saturday train ride while the “Easter Bunny” hides the eggs. Upon the return of the train, children (12 years and under) will go into the “egg field” to gather candy filled Easter Eggs!
