Updates for December 2024

Easter egg hunts are back! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by mid-March.

When we CONFIRM an event for 2024, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange.
The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you must call or email to confirm before you go.

Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, or simply never respond to email, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, Facebook pages and calendars. Africville Park Canine Easter Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt for dogs, There is an admission fee, Baskets are provided

Directions: Click here for a map and directions. Payment: Cash, only. Come join us in our first annual Easter Egg hunt for DOGS! Bring your pooch to sniff out dog-treat filled eggs scattered throughout Africville Park in the north end of Halifax, NS. Registration is required between February 1 and April 6, but NOT the day of the event. To register and for information, see our Facebook page. Cost is $20 per dog to hunt for 12 eggs, a chance to win prizes, and take a selfie with your dog in our Easter decorated section of the park. Register early as there is a limit of 50 dogs per hunt! Dartmouth Easter Carnival at Mic Mac Mall - Easter egg hunts

Come join us on Saturday, April 20th for a fun filled day of everything Easter! To help minimize congestion we'll be hosting 5 waves starting at 9am right until 1pm. Each wave is an hour long and has a limit of 150 children (9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm). Registration is NOW OPEN. To register please visit our Guest Services located on the Lower Level near Shopper's Drug Mart. The cost to participate is $5/child. CASH ONLY. All proceeds will be donated back to Easter Seals Nova Scotia. Participants will be given a booklet of exclusive one-day offers from some of our stores here at Mic Mac Mall. One last gesture to help you getting ready for Spring and have the best Easter yet.
